Whew! This past week was definitely about processing and recovering from heartbreak, as the cards and my guides and Higher Self said! I'm hoping things are going to calm down this week. Let's see...
Deck Featured: The Starchild Tarot by Danielle Noel
There is definitely Hierophant reversed energy for this week! I did a separate reading for myself yesterday for my week ahead and I got that same exact card in the same exact position and place in the spread!
1. Seven of Crystals: I'm hearing Celine Dion singing lines from her song "That's The Way It Is." The lines are, "I can read your mind / and I know your story / I see what you're going through, yeah. / It's an uphill climb/ and I'm feeling sorry, / but I know it will come to you, yeah. / Don't surrender, 'cause you can win / In this thing called love. // When you want it the most, there's no easy way out / When you're ready to go and your heart's left in doubt, / don't give up on your faith. / Love comes to those who believe it, / and that's the way it is." The message is in those song lines. Don't give up, even in hard times. You can rest, but don't give up. Your loving goals will be actualized. You can do this!
2. Eight of Cups reversed: Apparently this reading is made up of Celine Dion songs. I'm now hearing, "Taking Chances." "What do you say to taking chances? / What do you say to jumping off the edge? / Never knowing if there's solid ground below, / or a hand to hold, / or hell to pay? / What do you say? // I just want to start again. / And maybe you can show me how to try. / And maybe you could take me in / somewhere underneath your skin." Eight of Cups is generally about letting go, but I feel that this song is more representative of what happens in the process of or after letting go. You don't know what's going to happen, but you surrender and trust to the knowing that somehow, you'll be okay. Letting go of control, letting go of worry, and embracing the Universe's Love: that's what this card is telling us for this week.
3. The Hierophant reversed: I see The Hierophant as a teacher. In reverse, you are your greatest teacher. I feel this also is talking about taking space from or parting ways with a controlling or domineering energy in your life. Learning to stand on your own can be difficult, especially if you are feeling stuck in it. Building on the previous cards, believe in yourself and your Spirit help. You CAN do this. You are so loved. Speak your truth in a loving way and don't be afraid. You're here for this. Once you learn your own wisdom, you may have opportunities to pass on your knowledge to others who need similar assistance.
You are safe in Spirit's heart and your heart will go on and on. (Okay, that last Celine reference was done on purpose! 😉)
